THINK Gas encourages Sustainable Mobility & Household Fuel Consumption through Green Ranipet- CNG & PNG Rally

Green Ranipet Rally also promotes Piped Natural Gas usage for Households under the PNGRB’s National Domestic PNG Drive

Ranipet, March 15th, 2024: With a commitment to foster eco-friendly solutions, THINK Gas(formerly AG&P Pratham), a leading player in the Indian City Gas Distribution (CGD) industry, conducted the Green Ranipet – CNG & PNG Rally. The rally witnessed various CNG-powered private and public transport vehicles from Muthukadai up to Ranipet District Collector Office and traversed across key localities leading back to the starting point promoting sustainable mobility and cooking in the district. Green Ranipet – CNG & PNG Rally was flagged off by Chief Guest Mrs. S. Valarmathi I.A.S– Ranipet District Collector in the presence of Mr. K R Venkatesan, Regional GA Head - Vellore & Kolar GA, THINK Gas(formerly AG&P Pratham).

Additionally, as part of the ongoing National Domestic-PNG Drive which commenced on the 26th of January in association with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board’s (PNGRB) THINK Gas(formerly AG&P Pratham) has provided PNG Connections to 900+ households. The Green Ranipet Rally also promotes the special incentives offered under the National Domestic-PNG Drive which include one month of free gas, zero security deposit, zero registration fees, zero EMI, and zero rental charges, whilst reaping the benefits of uninterrupted supply and a significant cost saving of 15-25% when compared to LPG cylinders.

“Furthermore, as part of our company’s sustained efforts to make piped natural gas available to the residents of Ranipet, National Domestic PNG Drive in association with PNGRB allows consumers to enjoy a bouquet of benefits. We have cut down the registration fee of Rs.354 and a security deposit of Rs.6000 and is also offering free gas for one month to customers who register with THINK Gas(formerly AG&P Pratham) by March 31, 2024. We want to offer eco-friendly and sustainable fuel options for the consumers and through this initiative the residents will soon realise how PNG is more affordable and safer to use.” Mr K.R. In Vellore and Ranipet Geographical Areas, THINK Gas(formerly AG&P Pratham) operates 16 CNG stations and plans to set up 10 more over the coming years. Currently there are 948 households that utilize PNG, and the company plans to add an additional 5220 more in the near future.
