Food Packaging

Food items retain their nutrition only when they are sealed properly. If the packaging is not air tight, it renders the items inconsumable.

There are multiple ways to pack these products, all of which require the use of natural gas.

Heat is used to seal the items and make them air tight before sending them to stores. Whatever packaging method a manufacturing unit uses – whether its vacuum packaging, cartoning, shrink wrapping – the process requires the use of heat produced from natural gas, to seal the container and sterilize the entire process.
