Quality Engineer
Location : Baghpat/ Begusarai
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
Quality Engineer
- Supervision of all pipeline activity from initiation of project to contract closing and ensure al check points and witness of work as per approved inspection and test plan (ITP).
- Inspection of Material and Identification to be carried out as Per Applicable Codes, Purchase Order Copy and Correlated WithMTC and Inspection Release note (IRN).
- Familiar with all Codes and Standards related to Gas Pipeline like API, ASME, AWS and ASNT
- Sound knowledge all activities related to Pipeline Construction and monitoring Inspection of all the activities in line with QAP and ITP
- Familiar in conducting Welder Qualification and preparation of WPS and PQR
- Ensure Inspection and Execution of Pipeline construction in line with Alignment Sheets.
- Familiar with all NDT processes like RT, UT, MPT and DPT and their applicability in Gas pipeline activities.
- Preparation and Checking of Pipe Book Part A, Part B and Part C
- Allowing and Performing Hydro test activities by witnessing Mechanical completion from Cleaning and Flushing to 24 Hrs. Leak check
- Familiar with Hydro test calculations like Air Volume and Final acceptance by checking B value.
- Understanding and reading of Piping GAD’s, Isometrics and P&ID’s and accordingly witness of piping works.
- Familiar with GTAW and SMAW and Selection of Welding Electrodes as per WPS and PQR
- Familiar with all Welding processes required for Pipeline and Piping Construction.
- Checking and approval of As-Built drawings in line with construction.
REQUIRED PROFILE

SCADA Control Room Operator

Must have creativity, problem solving and leadership skill.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
SCADA Control Room Operator
- Should have Hands on experience in SCADA system .
- Maintenance of SCADA system, CCTV, Logistic Applications.
- Carry out process control & Control the plant operation in totality.
- Handle all operational emergencies for sustainable production.
- Monitoring of critical parameter and render technical help to resolve the anomalies.
- Analyse the performance and bring operational improvement.
- Should have knowledge of Safety knowledge to gas safety.
- Maintain the shift/SCADA logbook.
- Monitor the specific consumptions and optimize it.
- Monitor SCADA parameters, trends and identify deviations if any & propose proactive corrective actions in consultation with Shift In charge if required.
- Coordination with Control Room Engineer and Site Team for smooth functioning of Systems.
- Maintenance of Hardware, Software, IT support systems of SCADA.
- Monitor data communications Troubleshoot PLC/RTU circuit and system faults.
- Set up firewalls and ensure security of the SCADA system components from outside attacks.
- Manage inventory of equipment and software.
- Ensure Equipment Availability.
- Knowledge of generating unit operation, engineering, or maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, P&ID, procedures, and technical manuals.
- Ability to operate various switches, control devices and valves, and knowledge of the effect each has on total plant operations.

REQUIRED PROFILE
- Diploma- Instrumentation / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Computer Science
- 5-8 Years Industry Experience in Operation and Maintenance (Power, Oil & Gas, Gas Distribution) on various control systems – SCADA or DCS.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, administrative and leadership skills are essential.
- Candidates must have existing computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office).
